Paper on Flexible Multibody Dynamics Formulations published in Multibody System Dynamics

It seems that as computing power increases, models simply become more complex. So model order reduction remains crucial. Reducing complexity is often achieved by coordinate reduction, but may be enhanced by clever mathematical formulations to obtain simpler equations of motion.
