Dear Sir or Madam,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your interest in our 25th Fachtagung Schüttgutfördertechnik on 16 and 17 September 2020 in Garching near Munich.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation we have to inform you that the symposium will not take place this year. This decision was not easy for us. Unfortunately, we cannot estimate how the pandemic will develop until September. Therefore we have decided to cancel the conference early. After all, the health and safety of our guests, participants and employees is our top priority.  

To hold the conference as a digital conference, however, was out of the question for us. In addition to the presentations, the core of this conference is the joint discussions, the exchange of ideas and information and the establishment of new networks. This is hardly possible via the Internet. However, it is just as difficult to do this on site at an evening event or during the catering breaks with minimum distances, face masks and all other hygiene regulations.

We would therefore ask for your understanding and would be pleased if you would attend the next conference on bulk materials handling technology on 22 and 23 September 2021 in Magdeburg.

Until then, we wish you all the best and in Bavarian "Bleim's Gsund!"
