We presented the first use cases for private 5G campus networks in logistics at an information event on Monday. The in-house developed AGV can cover a larger field of operation through the 5G campus network of Telefónica Germany. More flexible and safe driving routes can be realized. This also makes the coordinated deployment of an entire fleet of AGVs possible.
As a second research topic for industry, the colleagues presented a teleoperated forklift. In this field we are researching object recognition as well as automated functions and movements.
