How can we determine, early in the product development phase, which product architecture enables the most efficient and sustainable circular flow?
We aim to address this question in collaboration with the Institut für Konstruktionstechnik und Technisches Design (IKTD) - Universität Stuttgart as part of the “PArzL” research project. An early consideration of logistical requirements is therefore essential when developing circular products.
The official project launch took place in March at the IKTD in Stuttgart, together with representatives from industry. The participating companies serve as the steering body for the project’s technical direction. In addition to interesting technical discussions, initial insights were already gained in workshops, which will be applied in the further course of the project.
