We have just released the first scene understanding dataset for logistics!

The renaissance of deep learning is fueled by publicly available data sets. While data is already available in other application areas of autonomous systems (e.g., autonomous driving or social robotics) logistics has been lagging behind. To overcome this issue, we released the first publicly available visual dataset for object detection, called LOCO ("Logistics Objects in Context"). In its first release, LOCO consists of about 38k images and 152k manually annotated instances of forklifts, pallet trucks, pallets, small load carriers and stillages. More info is in the paper and on our GitHub repo.
