Department Assembly Technologies and Robotics

The Assembly Technology and Robotics Department focuses on the final stage of value creation within production - assembly. This is where product costs and quality are significantly influenced. Efficient assembly processes, innovative plant engineering and assembly systems, as well as the targeted use of industrial robots, are the key to cost-effective production. The researchers in the Assembly Technologies and Robotics Department are therefore working on new solutions for specific challenges in these areas. Current trends in production also play a decisive role in this work.
