Department Sustainable Manufacturing
The Sustainable Manufacturing Department brings together cross-cutting and interdisciplinary expertise in the field of sustainability in production. We define sustainable production as the creation of goods and services using processes and systems that do not cause negative environmental impacts, are energy- and resource-efficient, economically viable, and beneficial to employees, the community, and consumers. In doing so, we examine various aspects of sustainability from the perspectives of assembly technology, production management, and manufacturing engineering to ensure the competitiveness of manufacturing companies.
