Scope
Designing robot-like systems involves several domains. DSL4RAS aims at developing domain specific languages that are compatible with each other. With them, co-design of mechanical elements, like gears, mechatronic elements, like motors, control logic and sensor design shall be enabled. A particular focus lies on quantitative detail modelling of mechanical characteristics of gears, in particular on degradation effects. Three TUM labs work together in a DFG-supported project.
