Keywords: Computational Fluid Dynamics, Topology Optimization, Microfluidics, Immunomagnetic Separation
Scope
The goal of the project is to develop a handheld device that can perform water analysis regarding contamination with pathogenic microorganisms on site and within a short period. The development of suitable millifluidic structures is required to perform the rapid test and detect specific microorganisms. The structure is to be automatically designed and optimized by a topology optimization method based
on target cell specific requirements.
