idmatch - new bike-fitting system of Selle Italia in our lab

Since September, our premises have been home to a cycling research tool - the idmatch bike-fitting system from Selle Italia. The system is currently used in a study to measure pressure distributions on road bike saddles in women's road cycling within the SHER project. With the help of the bike-fitting system, an ergonomically optimal position on the road bike is determined for each test person at the beginning of the trials, which serves as the standardised starting position of the pressure measurement study.
