Professor Veit Senner – well-deserved retirement

On September 30, 2025, Professor Veit Senner entered his well-deserved retirement. For over 20 years, he has built and successfully led the professorship with great commitment.

Under his leadership, numerous research projects, theses, and dissertations have emerged, shaping the reputation of the professorship. His work remains a significant chapter in the world of sports engineering.

Even in retirement, he stays closely connected to his doctoral candidates and follows developments in research with great interest.

His departure also marks a new beginning—filled with many exciting travels and projects waiting to be discovered. He certainly won't be bored!

We wish him all the best and much joy in the coming years and sincerely thank him for his exceptional work and tireless dedication!
