And that's how Quirin became Dr. Schmid!
We are pleased to congratulate Dr. Quirin Schmid on successfully completing his PhD. His thesis, titled “Exoskeleton Customization Based on Kinematics and Anthropometry Applied to a Knee Orthosis,” opens the door to designing better orthoses that allow greater freedom of movement during rehabilitation while still protecting the user. His very polished presentation impressed both the jury and the audience.
It was an honor to have Quirin as a colleague. We wish him all the best for the future — and hope he finds some time to practice the saxophone again.
