Two doctoral prizes will go to utg in 2026!
Lorenzo Scandola received the Rudolf Schmidt-Burkhardt Prize for the best dissertation in the field of mechanical engineering at TUM. His excellent scientific work on “Free-Form Bending: From Process Design to Quality Monitoring” represents a significant contribution to research on free-form bending.
Benedikt Kirchebner was awarded the Wittenstein Prize for his outstanding dissertation in mechanical engineering on hybrid material jetting, a cutting-edge additive manufacturing technology for metals.
