The event once again provided an ideal opportunity to present our teaching assistant positions, thesis projects, and current research initiatives. We were particularly pleased by the many interesting conversations, the keen interest in our research topics, and the open exchange with visitors.
Just like last year, our homemade foosball table created a relaxed atmosphere and was enthusiastically played by many students.
A special highlight this time around was the department tour at the utg, which included a demonstration casting. This allowed participants to gain hands-on insight into research in metal forming and foundry engineering!
A heartfelt thank you to all visitors and to all colleagues who contributed to the success of the event. We’re already looking forward to LOIFT 2027!
