HFES Europe Chapter 2026 in Copenhagen
Three days of stimulating exchange, inspiring conversations and scientific discussions at HFES Europe Chapter 2026 in Copenhagen came to an end yesterday. A big thank you to the organizing committee for putting together such a wonderful conference. It was great to be there. We from Lehrstuhl für Ergonomie/ Human Factors TUM had the opportunity to contribute with three topics this year.
Elena Malaika Nkusi presented her work on the development of mental models in urban partially automated driving, exploring how understanding of automation evolves over repeated use. Stay tuned for the paper, which will be published shortly.
Siyi Dai presented a poster on using an LLM-based pipeline to translate narrative user feedback into quantitative ratings for ADAS UX evaluation, an approach to making qualitative data more actionable.
Dr.-Ing. Niklas Grabbe shared the latest progress and an outlook on his work around the design and evaluation of a teleoperation control centre simulator for fleet operation of automated vehicles.
