The Lehrstuhl für Ergonomie/ Human Factors TUM at PERSUASIVE 2026 in Hakodate, Japan 🇯🇵
We are very pleased to have represented our chair at the International Conference on Persuasive Technology (Persuasive2026), which took place this year at the Future University Hakodate.
📚 As part of the conference, we had the opportunity to present two research papers:
Rutuja Joshi:
"Towards Personalized Conversations: How Rhetorical Framing Shapes User Trust and Acceptance in Healthcare Chatbots"
– This paper explores how rhetorical framing influences users’ perceptions of healthcare chatbots and highlights the role of linguistic design in shaping trust and acceptance.
Verena Pongratz:
"Persuasive Onboarding for Automated Driving: Design and Evaluation of Tutoring Strategies to Support Safe and Intended ADAS Use"
– This paper examines how different tutoring strategies can support users in understanding advanced driver assistance systems and using them safely and as intended.
The exchange with the international research community was highly valuable and once again highlighted the importance of user-centered design for intelligent systems across different application domains.
Many thanks to the organizers and all participants for the inspiring discussions and insights! 🚀
