Curriculum Vitae
Franziska Möller completed a joint – degree bachelor’s program in Engineering Sciences at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg and the Technical University of Munich and her master’s degree in medical technologies and assistance systems at the Technical University of Munich.
During the bachelor’s program, she focused on materials science and energy-related technologies. The bachelor’s thesis, conducted at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, investigated sodium-based solid-state batteries with a particular focus on sodium superionic conductors.
During the master’s program at the Chair of Medical Materials and Implants (MMI), she specialized in electrospinning of TPCSU’s. A semester thesis investigated electrospun polysilicone – urethanes with respect to mechanical properties and hemocompatibility. The master’s thesis focused on the failure behavior of sutures on electrospun fabrics using digital image correlation, including the fabrication of sutured prosthetic venous valves. Alongside the studies, she worked as Hiwi at MMI, supporting research on venous valves.
Since September 2025, Franziska Möller works as research assistant at MMI, working on microfluidic systems with a focus on microchannels.
