Scientific Employees
To strengthen our scientific research teams, we are looking for engineers (university/university of applied sciences), industrial engineers (university), physicists and computer scientists (university/university of applied sciences) with an excellent university degree and possibly also some years of professional experience. As a research associate at the iwb, you will work on research, teaching and industrial projects in close cooperation with our research and industrial partners with the aim of obtaining a doctorate.
You will join our project work alongside experienced project leaders and thus get to know your field of research in practice. In the course of your work at the institute, you will be given a high degree of creative freedom and will be able to actively shape your research area in this way. The members of the institute management will support, guide and coach you. Seminars and further training measures will help you to develop and enhance your personality. As a project manager of research and industry projects, you will take on responsibility and develop your competencies in your research area and beyond. For this purpose, the iwb continuously offers interesting job opportunities in different fields of production engineering.
After about 4 years you will complete your scientific work at the iwb with a doctorate and leave the iwb with excellent career prospects. The positions as scientific assistant are limited in time. Remuneration is according to TV-L.
