ProKal - Process modelling of the calendering of high-energy electrodes

In the "ProZell" cluster, leading research institutions in the field of the production of lithium-ion cells are pooling their expertise to jointly build up process knowledge for the manufacture of large-format battery cells. The subproject "ProKal" deals with the process modelling of the calendering of high-energy electrodes. The main focus of iwb's research is on machine behavior. In addition, a process variation should lead to an improvement in productivity and further processability. The iwb cooperates in this project with the iPAT of the Technical University of Braunschweig and the meet of WHU Münster.
