REVISEDBATT - Resonances, Vibrations, Shocks, External Mechanical Forces and Detection Methods for Lithium-Ion Batteries

In the ReViSEDBatt project, the mechanisms of action of mechanical loads on lithium ion cells and cell moduls are extensively investigated. The combined consideration of vibrations, especially resonances, shocks and pressure loads including the cross effects and the connection with e.g. electrical loads covers all essential aspects. In the ReViSEDBatt project, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is investigating vibration, resonance and shock loads and their influence on the safety and service life of cells and cell packages. In the course of this work, detection methods will be identified and tested, and the joint between the cells will be optimized.
