TRAVELLING BY CAR

You can reach the Garching Research Center via the Autobahn A9. Leave the Autobahn at exit 70 "Garching Nord", then follow the signs to the research center. Alternatively, you can reach the Garching Research Center via the federal road B11. Take the A92 from the airport and take the "Freising Süd" exit in the direction of Munich to the Garching research center.

TRAVELLING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

From the city center (e.g. "Marienplatz") you can reach Garching Research Center with the underground line U6 towards the Garching Research Center (final stop). Coming from the north (e.g. Freising Bahnhof or Munich Airport) take the S-Bahn line S1 in the direction of "Ostbahnhof" and change to bus 690 in Neufahrn (alternatively from Munich Airport take the S-Bahn line S8 to "Ismaning" and change there to bus 230).
