TUM fml – future.meets.logistics.

Our two FRANKA EMIKA arms are currently learning to cooperate for assembly tasks. They do so on top of the mobile platform of our project partner Lehrstuhl für Fördertechnik Materialfluss Logistik. Together, we are developing a mobile dual-arm robot system for complex handling and assembly tasks. The transport thus becomes value-adding through a journey-parallel assembly. A first realization took place in the second milestone in the project "Adaptive process planning using mobile pre-assembly systems". For this purpose, we implement autonomous navigation, fine positioning, coordinated and cooperated manipulation of the two robot arms, as well as the integration of the vision system of robominds GmbH.
