Project Goal
The goal of the project seminar is to develop a robot that is capable to move safely off-road. A Husky A200 from Clearpath Robotics is available as a platform.
Based on your interests we will develop the task description. Tasks can include navigation using GNSS-systems or computer vision approaches. Furthermore the sensor mounts will have to be designed.
Learning Outcomes
Since you will choose sensors for the robot, control it with ROS 2 using positioning and navigation algorithms, and analyze the measured data, you will have a deepened knowledge in mobile robotics.
Since the work is done in a team, your project management and teamwork skills will also be improved.
