From 7th – 10th October 2019, four members of the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (iwb) will present their latest research results to the laser community. With a total of 4 contributions, the iwb is again strongly represented in this year’s ICALEO:

  • “Numerical Weld Pool Simulation for the Accuracy Improvement of Inline Weld Depth Measurement Based on Optical Coherence Tomography" by Maximilian Schmoeller
  • "Real-Time Prediction of Quality Characteristics in Laser Beam Welding using Optical Coherence Tomography and Machine Learning" by Christian Stadter
  • "Paving the Way for Industrial Ultrafast Laser Structuring of Lithium-Ion Battery Electrodes by Increasing the Scanning Accuracy" by Jan Bernd Habedank
  • "Investigations on the Influence of Adapted Metal-Based Alloys on the Process of Laser Beam Melting" by Cara Kolb
