Project Seminar

The project seminar can be chosen as an alternative to the industrial internship.
It is worth 12 ECTS and includes:

  • 8 SWS of technical project work at the institute
  • 2 SWS of soft skills training at the ZSK

Winter Semester 2025/26

🔧 Modular Optical System

Redesign the optics of advanced metal 3D printers.
Work on a modular laser system that improves the processing of materials like copper. You'll handle CAD design, hardware integration, and real-world testing.

🚴 Custom Bike Components

Design, print, and test your own high-performance bike parts.
Use CAD and metal 3D printing to create components like stems or brake mounts, and see how your designs perform on real bikes.
