Biography

Mr. Burak Karakaya earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in automotive and combustion engine technology at the Technical University of Munich. Within the scope of a semester thesis he analyzed the driver’s behavior during take-over situations when driving highly automated. Further, he investigated the influence of a LED bar on situation awareness during highly automated driving in his master thesis. Mr. Karakaya joined the Chair of Ergonomics as a research associate in March 2018 and is involved in the industrial project with Toyota and in the research project CADJapanGermany: HF.
