Biography

Michael Rettenmaier graduated from the B.Sc. program mechanical engineering and management and the M.Sc. degree mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich. In his master thesis he investigated the mode awareness of drivers during automated driving in a driving simulator study. Since October 2017 Mr. Rettenmaier is working as a research associate in the project @City at the chair of ergonomics. Furthermore, he studies the influence of different levels of automation on the mode awareness of drivers.
