Our research project, "BioH2Log" focuses on the sustainable supply of green hydrogen for the payload/public transport sector.

Biogas plants with plant-based raw materials are established building blocks in Germany and Europe. Their decentralized location is advantageous for the supply of regional hydrogen consumers, especially in the payload/public transport sector.

Our innovation lies in rethinking the conventional methods of industrial gas companies, which are too complex and costly for the small volumes of gas produced by biogas plants. Instead, we rely on a digital twin of the entire process chain - from production to transport and acceptance.
We optimize the entire process chain by applying artificial intelligence (KI) to ensure attractive customer prices. A hydrogen trade management platform will link demand and real-time data from production and logistics.
 
Our goal: to demonstrate the operational readiness and economic viability of a regional supply of biogenic hydrogen.
