Web conference on the topic of mobile construction machinery

Together with the Finnish VTT, an institute similar to the German Fraunhofer Institute, the Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow, Logistics (fml) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is researching the sustainable orientation of mobile machinery, in particular construction machinery.
TUM's expertise in the areas of logistics and work machine processes (e.g. construction processes), combined with VTT's experience in sustainable drive trains for mobile machines, enables innovative solutions for sustainable energy storage and drive systems. The extensive network of industrial partners of VTT and TUM will meet for the first time in an English-language web conference on 26 March 2024 from 8:00 to 9:30 am.

This event will provide a summary of the highlights of the Construction Logistics, Equipment and Robotics (CLEaR) conference and the Finnish research project "Decarbonizing Mobile Machine Systems", as well as space for discussions on future challenges in the field of mobile machines. These include the manufacturer-neutral and continuous exchange of operating data, the development of energy ecosystems and automated to autonomous applications. Registration for the online event is possible until 19 March 2024 at kontakt.fml@ed.tum.de with the subject "Arbeitsmaschinensitzung".
