Biography

Ms. Annika Boos studied Psychology at Ulm University and obtained her Master’s degree in the program Ergonomics - Human Factors Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. Ms. Boos has been working at the Chair of Ergonomics since November 2018.

Ms. Boos investigates cooperation between humans and mobile automated systems. To enable a profitable application of such automated systems, these need safe and acceptable, but at the same time persuasive and comprehensible interaction strategies which enable these systems to accomplish their tasks successfully. Ms. Boos' research interest is directed at expanding currently used interaction strategies by applying insights from social psychology in order to enhance acceptance and compliance with the system. The primary application area are mobile robotics (such as delivery robots). Applications to automated driving are also possible.
