Biography

Philipp Maruhn graduated in the B.Sc. program Scientific Principles of Sports and has a M.Sc. degree in Ergonomics - Human Factors Engineering, both from Technical University of Munich. His master thesis covered the driver's intention characterization during lane change maneuvers in Asian traffic based on real vehicle data. He continued this research as a Research Associate at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

In August 2017, he joined the Institute of Ergonomics as Research Associate. His research focuses on the evaluation of pedestrian traffic simulations within the Franco-German cooperation project PedSiVal.
