Biography

Verena Pongratz, M.Sc. is working as a research associate at the Chair of Ergonomics since January 2024. She previously completed her bachelor’s degree in Sport Science and her master’s degree in Ergonomics – Human Factors Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. As part of her master’s thesis, she analyzed various strategies for dealing with optional driving actions in automated driving and their influence on User Experience, trust and acceptance of the human driver in a driving simulator study. In her work at the chair, Ms. Pongratz deals with the design of user-adaptive human-machine interfaces in automated vehicles.
