Biography

Niklas is a research associate and PhD candidate at the Chair of Ergonomics of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) since February 2018. He holds an MSc in Human Factors Engineering (2017) from the TUM. His research interests focus on the safety assessment of automated driving, the interaction between vulnerable road users and automated vehicle, and usability evaluations of HMIs in the automotive context. In addition, he takes on teaching activities in Human Factors in Aviation, Human Factors of Automated & Cooperative Driving, Human Reliability and Eye-Tracking.
