Curriculum Vitae

Annika Hangleiter began her professional career at Carl Zeiss. During her seven years at
Carl Zeiss, she completed a professional training as a mechatronics technician, worked as an
electronics technician in the field of industrial metrology and also as a working student at the
same time she took her A-levels and began studying. With a part of her professional training
she got to know the American working and everyday world during a stay abroad.


After transferring to the Technical University of Munich she gained initial experience in
the field of 3D printing in the area of automotive after-sales as a working student. In her
Bachelor’s Thesis Annika dealt with the detailed investigation of carbon fiber reinforced
polyamide.


When choosing her master’s lectures Annika delved into the field of medical technology.
She underlined this profession as a research associate for one and a half years at MITI
(Minimally-Invasive Interdisciplinary Therapeutic Intervention) research institute at Klinikum
rechts der Isar. Besides, she optimized a bioreactor for bone replacement materials as her
Master’s Thesis at the orthopedic research department (Klinikum rechts der Isar).


Since July 2022 Annika is part of the team at the Chair of Medical Materials and Implants.
