We, Prof. Daniel Rixen, Philipp Radecker, and Moritz Sattler, are happy to share that we won first place in the teaching award Goldene Lehre in the category “Lectures in Advanced Studies” for Robot Dynamics. Our teaching concept, Room for Improvement, is very well accepted by the students. Students are individually learning at their own pace in our learning platform with interactive mathematical exercises. By doing this in person at the university, students can discuss their questions with each other, and we can engage with them as tutors. Experiments and interaction with real hardware arise naturally in this context.
