Thanks to the kind support of Simi Reality Motion Systems GmbH, cutting movements in football could be recorded using a combination of marker-based and silhoutte-based motion capture. The generated motion data serve as input data for a digital multi-body human model which is coupled with an FEM ground model. Thus, sports shoes and sports floors can be optimized biomechanically in a targeted manner.
