Welcome to the Professorship of Sport Equipment and Sport Materials

Fields of research: 

The central tasks of the Professorship of Sport Equipment and Materials are: the idea generation, new developing, optimizing existing systems, tests and examinations on the basis of scientific methodology in terms of functionality, safety, ergonomics and biomechanics. To achieve these challenges, the mission of the professorship is to use the competences at the Technical University of Munich and take appropriate collaborations with other chairs, disciplines or central institutions of the TUM.
