Students and researchers of the TUM and the University of Reutlingen spent three days on the Zugspitze. Together they performed studies in the fields of biomechanics and physiology of alpine skiers, as well as GPS tracking of a skiing person. As base station and accommodation served the Environmental Research Station “Schneefernerhaus”, which is situated close to the top of Germany’s highest mountain.
