"Sporttechnologisches Projekt" in summer term 2017 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Within the module "Methods of Sports Technology" also the lecture "Sports Technology Project" took place in summer term 2017 in the surroundings of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. One group of students dealt with the traction properties of trail running shoes - the rather rainy weather provided the ideal working conditions. Another group was concerned with the validation of a sensor network developed by SpGM, which is located between the helmet and head itself and is able to measures the temperature distribution. For this, the subjects had to complete the height meter from the stadium to the highschild table in maximum speed. The aim of the course is to gain practical experience in dealing with special measuring techniques, while mastering the typical challenges of field studies at the same time. The results of the two studies will be presented at the beginning of the winter term 2017/2018 as part of a group-presentation.
