On 08.01.2020 Professor Senner, Bahador Keshvari and Valentin Wohlgut took part in the kick-off meeting of the ZIM project "Development of a compostable hybrid sports turf with an ideal biomechanical load profile to minimize the risk of non-contact injuries in professional turf sports". The project meeting took place at the company EuroSportsTurf GmbH in Igling, which equips football stadiums worldwide with hybrid turf. Other project partners are Herz GmbH, Exipnos GmbH, and the Chair for Biogenic Polymers at the Technical University of Munich. During the meeting, the functionalities of the most modern machines for sports field construction were demonstrated.
