International Conference on Gears 2025
The VDI International Conference on Gears (ICG) is a leading international meeting point for experts from research and industry to present and discuss the latest developments and trends in gear and drivetrain technology. The conference is held every two years, organized by the VDI Wissensforum in cooperation with the Gear Research Centre (FZG) of TUM in Garching. The 11th ICG will take place from September 10-12, 2025. More than 120 contributions will present state-of-the-art research results on gears and drive systems to an audience of over 500 participants.
ICG 2025 – VDI International Conference on Gears – Programm
ICG 2025 – International Conference on Gear Production – Programm
ICG 2025 – International Conference on High Performance Plastic Gears – Programm
The full papers of most presentations will be published in the VDI Report (VDI Conference Proceedings). Selected contributions will instead appear in the Springer Nature collection "Best of Gears 2025" of the journal Engineering Research, published in Open Access. These papers undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process by national and international experts in gear technology. Below you will find all manuscripts from the three conferences: International Conference on Gears, Gear Production, and High Performance Plastic Gears.
