The workshop area of the institute is equipped with all the necessary machine tools and work equipment to manufacture and maintain its test rigs and measuring equipment to a large extent. With the DMG Mori turning-milling machining center, gears can be produced in a 5-axis process. A Liebherr LGG 280 gear grinding machine (profile and generating grinding process) is available for gear finishing.
