New emloyee joining the professorship

The professorship warmly welcomes Anne Weinfurtner (M.Eng.) as research assistant. She works intensively with TUM Explore and develops in the project "MINT-Impulse an der Schule" (STEM impulses at school) new project courses in terms of content and didactics for the encouragement of young female talents in the STEM field. This gives female students in the 9th and 10th grades the opportunity to gain insight into application-specific, scientific topics, such as 3D scanning of body parts or measuring and processing biophysical signals, even before considering major subjects at school. Ms. Weinfurtner studied media technology at the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences and specialized in industrial multimedia in the master's program in media technology and production, also at the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences. We wish Ms. Weinfurtner a successful start.
