Third student research exchange with The University of Sydney in Australia


Like in the summer term 2015 and in the winter term 2016/2017, two Students are travelling to Sydney this October. There, they will complete their interdisciplinary project semester in the Thermal Ergonomics Laboratory of The University of Sydney. The Lab is under supervision of Dr. Ollie Jay and combines the most up-to-date measurement equipment with an international team of leading scientists in the field of thermal physiology and extreme environments. The Project of the two master students (M.Sc. Human Factors Engineering) will last six months and will hopefully – like in recent years – be completed with the publication of the results in an internationally renowned journal. During their stay in Australia, the two will be investigating the efficacy of different low-cost cooling strategies for different populations. Please, have also a look via:
