Cost Management in Product Development

Ziel ist die Vermittlung von Wissen und Methoden zum Produktkostenmanagement in der Produktentwicklung. Basierend auf dem Vorgehen des Target Costing werden Methoden der Kostenzielermittlung und -spaltung, sowie der Kostenverfolgung vermittelt. Dazu notwendige Grundlagen der BWL sowie Gesetzmäßigkeiten der Produktkosten sind wichtige Elemente der Veranstaltung. Hinweise zum Erkennen und Realisieren von Kostensenkungspotentialen am Produkt und im Produkterstellungsprozess werden vermittelt. In Gruppenpübungsstunden werden Teamzusammensetzung sowie Suche nach alternativen und kostengünstigen Produktkonzenpten vermittelt.

Contents of the lecture are knowledge and methods for the product cost management in de-velopment and design. Based on the proceeding of target costing, methods for determination of cost targets and their division as well as their tracing are procured. Therefore, necessary basics of business administration and rules of product costs are important elements. Further-more, the recognition and realization of cost down potentials concerning the product as well as the development and production process are taught.
