Travelling by Car
The institute in Garching is right off of the A9 (Autobahn) exit "Garching-Nord". Continue to drive towards "Forschungsgelände" on the Ludwig-Prandtl street until you reach the university campus.
Travelling by Public Transport
From the train station: At the Munich Central Train Station ("Hauptbahnhof") take any S-Bahn in the direction to "Ostbahnhof" and get off at the second stop called "Marienplatz". From there change to the subway line U6 to "Garching Forschungszentrum".
To reach the Technische Universität München, Campus Garching get off at the last stop "Garching Forschungszentrum". From the airport: Take the S-Bahn line "S1" (in the direction to "Ostbahnhof") to "Neufahrn". From there take the bus 690 (in the direction to "Garching-Forschungszentrum") and get off at "Garching-Forschungszentrum".
