On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Chair of Sports Equipment and Materials, the anniversary celebration took place on July 29.
It started with a scientific colloquium with presentations by Prof. Dr. Veit Senner, Prof. Dr. Kerstin Witte (Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg), Prof. Dr. Uwe Kersting (German Sport University Cologne) and Prof. Dr. Konstantin Fuss (University of Bayreuth) on the highlights of their research in the field of Sports Engineering.

This was followed by a presentation of the world's first BikAble and a "sports technology at your fingertips" exhibition. Afterwards we let the evening end with live music. Many guests of honor, company partners, colleagues, alumni and students came to celebrate this anniversary with us.
