BikAble - The story of a wheelchair that became a recumbent bike...

A recumbent bike that can be transformed in a few movements into a wheelchair is not common. This is the kind of device that the engineer Emil Wörgötter succesfully developped during his Master thesis at the professorship for sport equipment and spot materials. With the help of Anna Schaffelhuber - seven times Paralypmic winner in Monoskibob - he was able to fulfill a dream of many paralympic athletes, that is the easy transformation of the unpractical recumbent bike into an everyday wheelchair.
