Curriculum Vitae

Lunbi Wu received a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang University of Technology and an M.Sc. in Medical Technology and Assistive Systems from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). During the master’s program, Wu focused on bioreactor development, simulation, and in-vitro testing for cardiovascular applications.

During the studies, Wu served as a Hiwi developing a control system for a vascular trainer. A semester thesis involved the development of a bioreactor for tissue-engineered heart valves, and the master’s thesis developed a testing device for accelerated wear testing (AWT) of heart occluders.

Since June 2025, Wu has been a research assistant at the Chair of Medical Materials and Implants, working on bioreactor development and computational simulation.
