Christian Bergner (M.Eng.) joined the Chair of Ergonomics as external doctoral candidate in Mai 2022. He is working on the user-centered design of workplaces, which are suitable for human-robot-collaboration (HRC). The research project is funded by IuK-Bayern.
Mr. Bergner studied Mechatronic during a combined bachelor study at the Technical University in Nuremberg, which was accompanied by an apprenticeship as an expert of mechatronics. There, he completed his combined master study in the field of automatization. Subsequent to his study, Mr. Bergner worked as research assistant at the Nuremberg-Campus-of-Technology for four years. His focus was on the research of a flexible and intuitive programming concept as well as a safety concept for HRC-applications that is independent of the working environment.
